On perhaps one of the worst winter nights to have ever fallen on this world, a fiery-headed, cloaked priestess (or hell, a lady necromancer?) is either set to battle or command her latest encounter, and that skeleton is telling her either to bring her worst or is waiting patiently for its next task… Perhaps to scare another town or maybe even raze it to the ground.
Almost immediately, I LOVE how there could be several interpretations taken from this work, for good stories or bad, and I can appreciate how you’ve used your stocks in such an efficient way as to create this two-sided piece. The ambiguity gives this one some real flavour, more so than usual.
And I have to see, the model you’ve used for this picture is straight-up gorgeous, with a pose that could suggest a number of things; how she’ll destroy this foul creature as painfully as possible, or how could cause maximum suffering to the townsfolk today. Not much else to say except this is definitely an excellent piece of work, with a great use of stocks to boot. Well done!
